Hello All - Welcome to the Blog!
Hi Everyone -
Welcome to the first blog from rob on the new www.saintsforsinnners.com blog. After lots of trials and tribulations, a few learning curves were finally passed and we are ready to entertain a few select visitors (that would be you)! An official blogwarming party is in our future.
We hope to provide a place to visit to try and refresh and renew and "reify." A place where the positives in life are fondly highlighted and the lows are hopefully given a bit of a lift. A place for hope and faith and love.
There will be lots of work to do to catch up with all the erudite bloggers but with persistence, perseverance and undoubtedly, the help of some old age saints, we will prevail as a blogging presence on the world wide web.
Please check back from time to time and see how we are making out. This is hopefully the beginning of an exciting journey. Tomorrow, June 11, 2007 marks the 10th Anniversary of the creation of www.SaintsforSinners.com. It has been quite a ride! Thanks to all of you for embracing a kernel of an inkling of an idea wrapped in a riddle and helping to make it through some literally treacherous waters. We made it through the rain. We did it! Let's see where the the second decade takes us; put on your seat belts, Mulholland Drive can't even compare to the curvy road we are attempting to navigate. Who knew? Not me, that's for sure.
The first links I added are "Return to General Diaz," which is basically a chronicle of the rebuilding of our home, "Tennis Served Fresh" a site committed to discussing all things tennis, and finally www.mayasmom.com, a site I discovered yesterday. It's a web site devoted to celebrating the role of being a Mom, perhaps the most important, vital role of all, in my opinion.
Thanks to all of you and to Saint Isidore the farmer and Patron Saint of the Internet for guiding us along over the past 10 years. If you care to post a note, you can register OR you can just take the easiest route and just post "anonymously" by checking "anonymous" and then you can always just add your name or nickname to the bottom if you like.
